Sweet Spring Weekend
We had such a gorgeous Mother's Day weekend. Time with our little trio is rare and I love when we can connect as a family. I have no doubt being a mom is the greatest thing I will ever do. It's my biggest blessing and greatest gift and I am so, so thankful my sweet Olivia Gray chose me to be her mama. I truly celebrate this journey every day, but it's nice to have a special day to really embrace motherhood and all of the amazing moms in your life. We are so fortunate to live so close to both of our moms and we are so glad we were able to see and celebrate both of them, too. And we are only about an hour away from my grandmother and Olivia and I will be heading there this weekend for our annual Mother's Day celebration sleepover with her and my mom. I can't wait.
Beyond MD plans, we were also able to visit one of our favorite farmer's markets; the Green City Market. (In shorts no less!) Now that the weather seems like it's going to be consistently nice, (fingers crossed, Chicago!) I am looking forward to making that a regular weekend activity again. The flowers and the donuts are our favorites. :) The city has a great schedule of locations and dates here, and I'm looking forward to visiting some we haven't yet been to. Chicagoans, what are your favorites?
I hope you had a wonderful weekend and that you're enjoying this amazing spring weather!
