Peach Picking

It feels like we have been waiting all summer to go peach picking. Olivia and I absolutely love them, and with how much she loved apple picking in the fall, we thought it would be fun. Chris looked at a few orchards and we ended up visiting Overhiser Orchard near South Haven, Michigan. It's a bit of a drive for a day trip from Chicago, but we left early in the morning and were able to have a great full day. After the orchard we stopped in downtown South Haven for lunch and walking by the water.

The grounds were very serene. They felt relatively small and were really easy to navigate. We were impressed to learn from one of the sweet girls working that her dad is the 5th generation running the family business. I just love that history and tradition.

The peaches were plentiful and they are so delicious! We couldn't even make it out of the driveway before we started enjoying them! It was so fun seeing Olivia pick the peaches. She was saying "I loooove peaches!" We had a great time. If you haven't been, I definitely recommend checking it out! It's a great summer tradition for everyone!

I've got some fun recipes I'll be sharing soon. xo
