I know it's been a quiet first quarter over here; especially lately as my wrist has been recovering. It was a tough go for a while but I am so grateful to report I am feeling better. I am excited to get back into a groove both here and on Instagram.
I've been holding onto this post for a while. With freezing rain and now snow on the ground, jacket-less days, fresh flowers, and pushing al fresco dining is feeling like a far away dream. Admittedly, I am having a hard time getting into the spring spirit. (Though I am so grateful for all the extra snuggled days with my girl!)
One of the things I always look forward to this time of year is ditching my boots. Though I love them for a time, I am always eager to switch gears into something lighter. Since it's never warm enough for sandals, finding the right shoes can be tricky this time of year. Sometimes even my ballet flats don't feel warm enough with my feet bare.
This year, I love all of the pretty sneakers available and I think they are a perfect transitional shoe. (Just save the satin ones for dry and snow-less days!) They're also perfect for keeping up with my always twirling girl which makes them even better in my book. Practical and cute is always a win.
