Valentine's Day Lunch: Toddler Style
We are having so much fun getting ready for Valentine's Day over here. I can hardly wait to show my girl all of the cutie things I have planned for tomorrow.
We have had a few rough nights of sleep with Olivia's molars coming in, and thanks to another one Saturday, our normal routine was thrown a bit yesterday. She went down for nap early (and before eating) which gave me time to decide to whip up an impromptu Valentine's Day lunch for her. It dawned on me that Chris won't be home to enjoy a lot of the day with her tomorrow and while we do have some special dinner plans for our trio, another little treat for us all to have fun with together was a no brainer.
Lucky for me, I had just scooped up a bunch of blooms for our place that morning. {Those ranunculus?! Perfection.} And we are, of course, at no shortage of pink tableware over here. I loved dressing up her "big girl" table and am so glad I decided to do this. She woke up from her nap (yes, in her tutu!) and headed straight over to her pretty set up. She loves everything "pink and peach mama" and she loved bringing some of her friends over to her special lunch. Between twirls with daddy, she enjoyed a few of her faves, most notably a strawberry popsicle. (Teething lifesavers!)
