18 Summer Kitchen Essentials
Though we have had some pretty magical summer-like days lately, today is the first official day of the season and of course, we couldn't be more excited over here. In addition to lots of pool visits, sun kissed skin and sticky ice cream hands, I love summer entertaining. From really delicious frozen treats to fresh fruit pies, sweet sips and refreshing salads, it is one of my favorite times to have fun in the kitchen and spend time with our loved ones. You can definitely expect some of my favorite summer recipes in the coming weeks.
Today, I'm sharing 18 items you'll love in your kitchen this season. They're all reasonably priced (nothing over $60!) and terrific additions to your current collection.
I adore this lemon apron, dishtowel, and oven mitt. They are such a fun pop of color and just feel like summer, don't they? I am majorly crushing on these plates. Majorly. They also come in a blue trim version. Both would be gorgeous on your alfresco table. These placemats are also an adorable table top accessory and these cotton hemstitch napkins are a quintessential summer classic. (And so inexpensive!)
We make tons of cold treats and love our ice cream maker as well as this storage container and this storage container. You may remember seeing me use them here and here. This ice cream cone dish and scooper set is so cute and a fun update from a traditional bowl. This popsicle mold is perfect and I am definitely lusting over this pie dish set. One for blueberry, one for peach, and one for apple. Trifecta!
Whether you use them for mixing or serving, this bowl set is a staple for me and so are these stainless steel measuring cups and spoons. This lemon juicer gets a good workout every day. I love lemon on so many things. This little berry colander is perfect for housing your fresh berries and pretty on the table or in the fridge. This jug is great for storing your homemade passion tea lemonade and I adore this picnic basket for when you want to take your summer treats on the go.
So tell me- do you have anything from this list? Any must haves I should know about?
Happy summer cooking! I can hardly wait! xo
