Back To School Shopping: Girl Boss Style

Back to school shopping was a highlight of my year growing up. Maybe the early signs as a perfectionist and future girl boss, I loved getting organized for the new school year ahead. Thinking about and planning for all of the projects and challenges I would tackle in style was so exciting. I could have chose color coordinated notebooks and folders, pouches, pens and highlighters all day. I remember thinking about how they would all fit into my desk, practicing getting everything in my new backpack..I loved it.

Thanks to Chris' job, I still get to re-live my favorite pastime. He often stocks up at the start of the school year and we often buy extra for his classroom and students. It's so fun for me. And while I don't want Kindergarten to come anytime soon for Olivia, I can only imagine how much fun we are going to have getting organized. This year, I'm thinking about some cute accessories for my new desk. Thankfully, office items have come a long way. There are lots of great pieces to help you work in style.

Few things are less satisfying than crossing off an accomplished task on your to-do list, amiright? I love this striped notepad for keeping everything organized, and this journal is perfect for taking notes at meetings, or keeping bedside to jot down any ideas that come to you while you're relaxing before bed. This document folder is the prettiest way to hold your important papers, and I love these crisp white pens. I have been crushing on this bowl (and vase version too!) for a while. The bowl would be a great place to store these paper clips and binder clips. I love the gold for a fresh take on regular silver.

This acrylic letter tray and stapler are so chic, and I love the gold on this stapler. I also adore this file box. I have never seen prettier pushpins and will be ordering some asap. Last but not least is this pretty, motivational wall art. All entrepreneurs need that encouraging reminder sometime, and the lettering on this one is so sweet.
